Power Rodding across NW Indiana & Chicagoland

Mechanical rodding with cutting heads sized to your line — the right tool for tough clogs, roots, and heavy debris.

What it is

Power rodding uses a motor-driven cable with interchangeable cutting heads sized to your pipe. It's the standard fix for tough mainline clogs, root intrusions, and heavy debris that a hand snake won't move.

When you need it

  • Mainline backup with active sewage
  • Tree roots in the line (especially clay tile)
  • Standing water in the basement floor drain
  • When jetting isn't appropriate (severe pipe damage)

Our process

  1. 1Identify the cleanout and length of run
  2. 2Select the correct cutting head for the suspected blockage
  3. 3Run the cable the full length, multiple cuts as needed
  4. 4Recommend a follow-up camera + jet for permanent fix
FAQ

Power Rodding — common questions

  • Rodding clears them today; jetting with a root-cutting nozzle gets them cleaner; a camera shows where roots enter so you can plan a permanent repair (liner or spot replacement). We do all three.
